The project logo was created by taking inspiration from the interior decoration of an antique brooch of Sardinian tradition. In folk tradition, especially in Sulcis Iglesiente, this brooch called ”Broscia” was used to stop the headscarf around the neck of the traditional costume.
Proof of authenticity of the object and what it represented is attested by a photograph of 1902. Today, the brooch belongs to the granddaughter of the woman in the photo, which has kindly made available to implement the project logo. Furthermore, this brooch has a extraordinary identity value, only a few families possessed the ”Broscia” in their trousseau. Its origin could be Spanish.
